Osprey model

(Our largest bodied steel-string guitar) With a Western Red Cedar top, this guitar is very spirited. Many people are surprised when they first play this model because it is so resonant. Commenting on the sound and projection, one well known San Francisco Bay Area Musician commented, "It sounds like a piano"

Bubinga back and sides with "Bees Wings" figure is very striking. When you turn it back and forth under the light it has an almost holographic effect. This also is an excellent tone wood. One reason you don't see more of it being used on guitars is that is a little on the difficult side to work with. I always find that the finished product is worth the effort though.
